Our flagship program consists of exercises that will improve mobility, stability, and strength. Our members come from all walks of life. Many come trying to lose unwanted weight, improve flexibility and stamina, or get stronger after a serious injury/surgery. Our program teaches EVERYONE how to get stronger, more flexible, and more resilient to what life throws at us.
The lessons taught and practiced at our facility have a direct effect on the quality of life we live outside of the gym. We help people take back their body that years of sitting, driving, and working has crippled. You can expect expert coaching and focus on your movement at Mini's House of Pain.
Our team is ready... are you?
Youth Athlete Program
The Mini’s House of Pain Student Athlete program was developed in an effort to provide a college level strength and conditioning program for student athletes at the adolescent and high school levels giving them a platform to realize (through successes and failures) that hard work, discipline and integrity delivers results. The lessons taught here go beyond our walls and last a lifetime.
There are very strict expectations for student athletes that participate in this program and athletes that do not follow our expectations are swiftly dismissed from the program. This is not a program for everyone. We expect our student athletes to be leaders on their teams, in their classrooms and in their communities. Our job is to motivate these young minds intrinsically and extrinsically. And to give them opportunities to learn through actions how to communicate effectively with their sport coaches, parents, teachers and peers.
Our team of strength coaches have diverse backgrounds and experiences unique and completely different that other gym type trainers. The organizations that our team has been trained by consist of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Functional Movement Systems, USA Weightlifting and Strong First. And our owners sit on the Northern California Advisory Board for the NSCA.
Our affiliations and credentials as a team allow us to coach our athletes at the highest level. All to often, we come across young athletes that have been training independently without little to no coaching. Safety AND Performance suffer with this mentality. To succeed and be safe in today's sport environment, our young athletes need to train with proven methods and precise technique. The success of our athletes not only leads to college opportunities but also a higher level of resiliency on the court or field.
